Experience Itinerary: Artisanal Chocolate Making Workshop

  • Hotel Pickup and Welcome: The tour begins with direct pickup from your hotel in Cusco to transfer to the Choco Museum, strategically located in front of the historic Regocijo Square. Here, your sweet journey of the day will begin.
  • Hygiene Protocols and Preparation: Upon entering the workshop, authorized staff will provide a brief explanation of the strict hygiene methods used in artisanal chocolate production. You will be given a special hairnet, apron, and the necessary equipment to keep the workstations clean.
  • Interactive Workshop and Production Process: We will embark on a fully guided and hands-on tour of the production process. You will learn traditional techniques of roasting, shelling, and grinding cocoa beans, giving you the unique opportunity to create your own personalized artisanal chocolate.
  • Cocoa Tasting from Regions of Peru: During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to taste and compare high-quality cocoa used in our production, sourced from the best agricultural regions of Peru. Our expert guide will explain the origin characteristics, fermentation processes, and applications of cocoa in fine chocolate making.
  • Packaging Phase and End of the Tour: Finally, we will head to the packaging area, where the classification and manual packaging of the chocolates you have prepared takes place, ready to be enjoyed or sold. After 2 hours of a memorable and sweet experience, transportation will take you back to the comfort of your hotel.
