Cancellation and booking policies

CANCELLATION REQUEST

Every cancellation request will be accepted up to 05 days prior to the travel date and will be subject to the payment of cancellation penalties on all contracted services that are not 100% recoverable for us. For this we have different deadlines established for cancellations and each one has detailed exceptions.


For programs of 2 or more days

Advance Notice Penalty Concepts covered by the penalty
60 to 90 days 10% Machupicchu/Huaynapicchu entrance ticket, train ticket cancellation, administrative and operational expenses.
30 to 60 days 15% Machupicchu/Huaynapicchu entrance ticket, train ticket cancellation, administrative and operational expenses.
15 to 30 days 20% Machupicchu/Huaynapicchu entrance ticket, train ticket cancellation, hotel reservation cancellation, administrative and operational expenses.
7 to 15 days 30% Machupicchu/Huaynapicchu entrance ticket, train ticket cancellation, hotel reservation cancellation, administrative and operational expenses.
0 to 7 days 50% Machupicchu/Huaynapicchu entrance ticket, train ticket cancellation, hotel reservation cancellation, administrative and operational expenses.

Cancellation for Health reasons

This request will be evaluated independently taking into account the advance notice and, being a health reason, to proceed with it the following is requested:

  • Medical document or certificate: Issued by the doctor or medical care center supporting the passenger's health situation, which motivates them to cancel the trip.
  • With this documentation, we proceed to cancel the entrance ticket to Machupicchu/Huaynapicchu, train ticket and hotel reservation.
  • The passenger is informed of the total amount to be refunded. The passenger must confirm and accept the amount; if there is any observation, they must communicate it immediately.

Cancellation in case of social factors or conflicts

This request will be evaluated in the event of social conflicts (strikes) taking place in Peruvian territory that directly affect the passenger's itinerary. It will be done independently taking into account the advance notice and because it is a cause beyond the passenger's control.

  • It is considered that tourist service companies have flexibility when applying their cancellation policies for the benefit of the passenger.
  • We proceed with the cancellation of the Machupicchu/Huaynapicchu entrance ticket, train ticket and hotel reservation.
  • The passenger is informed of the total amount to be refunded for their immediate confirmation and acceptance.

For individual tours (does not apply to Machupicchu or Huaynapicchu)

15 to 60 days 5% Administrative and operational expenses.
0 to 15 days 10% Entrance ticket to the sites to visit and for administrative and operational expenses.
0 to 7 days 15% Entrance ticket to the sites to visit and for administrative and operational expenses.

For individual tours (Machupicchu and/or Huaynapicchu Full Day)

Advance Notice Penalty Concepts covered by the penalty
30 to 60 days 25% Machupicchu/Huaynapicchu entrance ticket, train ticket cancellation, administrative and operational expenses.
7 to 30 days 30% Machupicchu/Huaynapicchu entrance ticket, train ticket cancellation, administrative and operational expenses.
2 to 7 days 35% Machupicchu/Huaynapicchu entrance ticket, train ticket cancellation, administrative and operational expenses.
Within 24 hours 50% Machupicchu/Huaynapicchu entrance ticket, train ticket cancellation, administrative and operational expenses.

REFUNDS

Any return or refund will be made once the cancellation process for the Machupicchu/Huaynapicchu entrance ticket, train ticket and hotel reservation has been completed.

  • The penalty amount will be applied to the program cost, according to the deadlines established for cancellations.
  • The passenger is informed of the total amount to be refunded, who must give their confirmation and acceptance. Any observation must be communicated immediately.
  • Refund methods: We have two options to make the refund effective. The first option will be to send the amount through a Western Union agency in the name of the requesting passenger; the second option is to keep the amount as a credit in favor for a future trip of the same passenger, or for a friend or relative of theirs.
