Culture and Adventure in Cusco

At the appointed time, we will be waiting for you at Velasco Astete Airport in Cusco to give you a warm welcome. Then, you will have the entire afternoon to immerse yourself in the magic of Cusco. You can stroll through the historic Plaza de Armas, explore the charming San Blas neighborhood with its picturesque streets and art studios, and visit the imposing Qoricancha, the ancient Temple of the Sun. Don't miss the opportunity to explore the San Pedro Market, where you can discover the wealth of local products. To complete the day, you can enjoy exquisite Peruvian cuisine at one of the city's renowned restaurants, savoring traditional dishes such as ceviche or lomo saltado. It will be an unforgettable afternoon, full of culture, history, and flavor.

In the morning, our staff will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco.

The first destination will be the town of Pisac, where you will visit the archaeological ruins. You will be able to explore the agricultural terraces, temples, and Inca constructions while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views.

After visiting Pisac, you will head to the town of Urubamba, where you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring typical regional dishes.

You will then continue to the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, one of the best-preserved Inca sites. Here you can explore the impressive terraces, temples, and cobblestone streets while learning about Inca history and architecture. Afterward, we will go to the train station for the journey to Aguas Calientes, the town near Machu Picchu, where we will spend the night.

Early in the morning, we'll start the day with a delicious breakfast. Then, we'll head to the bus station, where we'll board the transport that will take us to the entrance of Machu Picchu.

Once at Machu Picchu, you'll have a guided tour to explore and learn about the history and culture of this ancient archaeological site. The guide will take you through the main points of interest and provide fascinating information about the Inca civilization.

After the guided tour, you'll have free time to explore Machu Picchu on your own, hike the trails, and enjoy the panoramic views.

After your time at Machu Picchu, you'll return to Aguas Calientes by bus.

In the afternoon, you'll take the train back to Ollantaytambo, and from there, our staff will transfer you to the city of Cusco in a comfortable vehicle.

This adventure begins at 4:30 am with a pick-up from your accommodation and a three-hour drive to the southern valley, during which you can relax in our comfortable transport. Along the way, you'll see Andean villages, terraces, fertile valleys, and mountains. Upon arrival in Cusipata, we'll stop for breakfast with a spectacular view.

Afterward, we'll continue to the starting point of our hike. We'll begin by following a stream along a winding path through the mountains, where you'll be amazed by the views of Ausangate Mountain. You'll learn about local life, agriculture, and traditional clothing, with explanations from your guide about the garments. Before starting the hike, you can choose to ride a horse to make your journey easier.

After an hour and a half of hiking, we'll reach Rainbow Mountain. You'll have time to admire the scenery and take photos. Then, we'll descend for two hours back to the starting point, where you might see llamas and, if you're lucky, vicuñas. Finally, we'll return to Cusipata for a well-deserved buffet lunch before heading back to Cusco.

Our tour will end by dropping you off near Cusco's Plaza de Armas at approximately 5:30 pm.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, we will meet you at the agreed time at the door of your accommodation to take you to the airport, where this wonderful experience will culminate.
